Drawing Angles
In class today we learnt how use a protractor to draw and measure angles. A protractor is like a ruler for measuring angles. I found a it bit tricky at first but after a while I got the hang of it. An angle smaller than 90 is called an acute angle. An angle between 90 and 180 degrees is called an obtuse angle. An angle over 180 degrees is called a reflex angle. I loved learning about different angles.

Dye Experiment
Today we did an experiment using dye. The experiment was whether dye soak into a wet paper towel or a dry one. I thought that it would soak into the wet one more but as the experiment went on I quickly released I was wrong because with the wet paper it was like water trying to soak into a wet sponge. so in conclusion dry paper wins!

Mary Mackillop Day
Today was the feast day of St Mary Mackillop. Since she was the founder of our school, we went to mass. After mass we did some dot painting. Dot paint is when you get a cotton bud and dip in some paint, you use the cotton bud to make dots around a shape in this case a picture of Mary Mackillop.
once you have made a full circle of the shape repeat with a different color. I really enjoyed use my imagination in the dot painting.
