Pede Patterns

Today we learnt about patterns by making creatures called pede (pede also means legs). Then we tried finding the rule for the pede pattern. My pede's rule was: pede x 3 + 2 = total squares. I really enjoyed making my pede and figuring out the rule.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                       ↑                     ↑      ↑             ↑     ↑     ↑

Drawing Angles

In class today we learnt how use a protractor to draw and measure angles. A protractor is like a ruler for measuring angles. I found a it bit tricky at first but after a while I got the hang of it. An angle smaller than 90 is called an acute angle. An angle between 90 and 180 degrees is called an obtuse angle. An angle over 180 degrees is called a reflex angle. I loved learning about different angles.

Roll and Answer

Today in maths we played a game called Roll and Answer. It tests the skills we have learned this year like rounding, place value, addition and subtraction. My group did a board about rounding.

Creating Graphs

During maths we have been learning about collecting data and presenting them on graphs digitally. Here is my presentation I created sharing some of my work.
